This was taken near the DMZ in South Korea. A Soldier found a frog on the firing range and set it on the table where we were loading magazines.

No frogs were harmed during this photo shoot!

Normally we use 30-round magazines, however these were loaded with blanks for training purposes and we were trying to get our money's worth out of the 14-rounders.

What version of the M16 is that? (unless its a knock-off, and knows its not a C7, cause there is no auto fire selector[we have auto and single))

It's the A2. The A1 is the only one with full auto and they were phased out shortly after the Vietnam war. Apparently they found that when using full auto the 4th round almost never hit the intended target. So they replaced it with what is used now, the 3-round burst.

Even then I would never use it. It's just an excuse to not aim and waste ammo.

One shot, one kill!

that and "pray and spray" wasn't really that effective...
though I will admit...full auto is soooo much fun when your Sgt tells you to burn your ammo cause its too much work returning rounds.
